OUR PROMISE
When something goes wrong with your water heater, the last thing you want is to figure out who is responsible, dig through warranty paperwork, or spend hours calling manufacturers.
If Water Heater King installed or serviced it, start with us.
We’ll help determine what happened, explain what’s covered, and give you a clear path forward.
A straightforward process
You shouldn’t have to determine whether a problem was caused by the water heater, a replacement part, or the installation before asking for help.
Call us first.
We stand behind it.
If an eligible problem is caused by workmanship performed by Water Heater King and falls within our workmanship guarantee, we’ll return and make our work right at no additional charge.
The manufacturer stands behind it.
New water heaters and many replacement parts include warranties provided by their manufacturers. Coverage depends on the specific product and manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Call us first.
We’ll help diagnose the problem and determine whether you’re dealing with our workmanship, a potential manufacturer warranty issue, or a different repair or maintenance need.

New installation protection
The equipment
Your new water heater includes the applicable manufacturer’s warranty for the specific equipment installed.
Depending on the manufacturer and model, coverage may include the tank, heat exchanger, controls, or other components.
We’ll explain the applicable manufacturer warranty for the equipment we install.
The installation
The manufacturer warrants the equipment.
We warrant our installation.
If an eligible problem occurs because of Water Heater King’s installation workmanship during the applicable warranty period, we’ll return and correct our work at no additional charge.
Specific warranty periods and applicable terms are shown on your proposal or invoice.
We help handle the warranty
Manufacturer warranties can be confusing. We don’t want our customers wondering whether they should call the manufacturer, distributor, plumber, or someone else.
Start With Water Heater King.
We evaluate it under our workmanship warranty.
We’ll help you navigate the applicable manufacturer warranty process.
We’ll explain what we found and your options before additional chargeable work begins.
The manufacturer’s warranty is ultimately provided and governed by the manufacturer, but you don’t have to start the process alone.
Help after the work
Every situation is a little different. Here are some of the most common situations and how we’ll handle them.
Call Water Heater King. We’ll determine where the leak is coming from.
If it’s the result of our installation workmanship and is covered by our workmanship warranty, we’ll correct our work at no additional charge.
If the cause is something else, we’ll explain what we found and the available options.
Start with Water Heater King. If the equipment appears to have failed even though it was properly installed, we’ll help diagnose the problem and determine whether it may qualify for coverage under the manufacturer’s warranty.
When appropriate, we’ll help you navigate the applicable manufacturer warranty process.
Manufacturer warranty coverage varies by manufacturer and product and may treat equipment, parts, labor, shipping, permits, disposal, and other costs differently.
We’ll explain what appears to be covered and what isn’t before additional chargeable work begins whenever reasonably possible.
Call us. We’ll evaluate the system and determine whether the problem is related to the service we performed.
If the problem resulted from our workmanship and falls within our service guarantee, we’ll make our work right at no additional charge.
If a different component failed or an unrelated problem developed, we’ll explain what happened and provide your options before performing additional chargeable work.
Sometimes a properly installed replacement part can fail.
Call us first. We’ll determine whether the problem is related to our workmanship or the replacement part itself.
If it’s our workmanship, we’ll address it under our applicable service guarantee.
If the part appears defective, we’ll help determine whether it may be covered by the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty.
Call us anyway. Even if you’re outside our workmanship warranty, we still want to be the first call you make.
We’ll help diagnose the problem, determine whether manufacturer warranty coverage may still apply, and explain your repair or replacement options.
Our relationship with our customers shouldn’t end when we leave the driveway.
Manufacturer and Water Heater King warranty coverage may be affected when equipment or plumbing has been altered, improperly maintained, damaged, misused, or modified by someone else.
We’ll still help you understand what’s happening.
However, work required because of modifications, damage, maintenance issues, environmental conditions, or work performed by others may not be covered by our guarantee.
You don’t need to figure that out before calling us.
Contact Water Heater King and tell us what’s happening.
We’ll help determine whether the issue appears to involve our workmanship, manufacturer warranty coverage, maintenance, or a different repair need.
Then we’ll explain the next step.
